Why this edition exists

The first hundred boxes
will never be repeated.

One person makes these. Each box is weighed, sealed and signed by the hand that filled it, and what comes back from these hundred decides what the next hundred taste like.

Questions people actually ask.

When will it arrive?

Boxes are filled by hand on Fridays and go out the same day. Anywhere in India, expect it inside a week. You will get a message from me when it leaves, not a tracking bot.

How do I pay?

Card, UPI or netbanking through the buy button, which runs on Razorpay. If you would rather not use a card, message me on WhatsApp and I will send you a UPI request.

What if I don't like it?

Email me and I will refund you. No form, no argument, and nothing to post back. I would genuinely rather know. Almost everything on the Lab page came from someone telling me a cup was plain, or once, memorably, half-cooked.

Will it taste like the coffee I get in a café?

It will taste like a good cup made carefully at home, which is a different thing and, on most mornings, a better one. The beans are single-estate and ground the morning they are sealed. What you will not get is an espresso: this is a pour-over, so it is cleaner and lighter in the mouth, and the aroma does more of the work.

How long does it keep?

Drink it inside a month. The sachets are sealed, but aromatics fade faster than coffee does and the aroma is most of the point. Do not save these for a special occasion. The occasion is Tuesday.
